At Boondocks Coffee & Cafe, coffee is just the beginning.
Boondocks was created with something simple in mind: good coffee, good people, and a place that feels like it belongs right here in the Northwoods. As a family-owned and locally rooted coffee shop, it’s built on the kind of connections you can only find in a small town.
At the heart of it all is a mother-daughter team who keep things running day in and day out—serving drinks with a smile, remembering your order, and making sure everyone who walks through the door feels welcome.
Right next door, the family also owns the Wild River Trail Inn. Having a cozy coffee shop within easy walking distance of the motel played a big role in bringing Boondocks to life. What started as a way to better serve their guests quickly became something more—a gathering place for the entire community.
Today, Boondocks has grown into a local favorite. It’s where:
- Book clubs meet over lattes
- Church groups gather and catch up
- Friends settle in for long conversations
- Business gets done (with really good coffee in hand)
